In the middle of October, most hoops junkies are pulling out their jerseys and getting tickets to a local Midnight Madness. There’s a lot to consider when ranking teams at the collegiate level. We came up with our own analysis of the 2015-16 season. With new faces in new places, ultra-talented freshmen, and transfers the college game has been taking a turn. Teams such as Kentucky and Duke have certainly reloaded after having stellar seasons but, neither may be the top team in the country. A team returning a host of valuable players and has the potential for a great season are the Maryland Terps. Coming into the season, the Terrapins are looking like the number one team. Kentucky, North Carolina, Duke, and Kansas round out the top five teams in the country before the games tip off in the second week of November.
